This is the season of transformations and new beginnings. We will soon (hopefully very soon - LOL) start to see our plant life budding into refreshed and renewed life. This is my absolute favorite time of the year. I love to see the grass and trees turning green during this time of the year. And seeing my plants and spring flowers start come to life makes me feel truly happy, alive and free!
When spring ensues, we can once again begin to get grounded with the earth naturally and find the balance we may have been missing during the winter months. A few of my favorite ways to get grounded are to do some gardening, sitting in the grass, or simply being outside.
Are you a person that is normally scattered in your life? Do you find it hard to concentrate? Or are you just looking for balance? Ground yourself every day for seven days and see how things begin to change for the better in your daily life. It certainly doesn't feel like spring just yet, but I want to share with you a way you can get grounded even though it's still a bit wintry outside in these early days of spring.

A cherished friend and teacher once told me, "Fake it until you make it"! This is one of my absolute favorite sayings because it goes along with the power of affirmations. Affirmations refer primarily to the practice of positive thinking and self-empowerment – fostering a belief that “a positive mental attitude supported by affirmations will achieve success in anything.”
Along my own healing path, I've done and tried everything for my own personal growth and healing. Beyond a shadow of a doubt, affirmations hold a huge place in my life. It was through daily affirmations that I was able to rewrite the broken record that constantly played in my head. I created a new recording in my head that was filled with self love, worthiness along with confidence and was able to achieve this with daily affirmations.
Think deeply about how you see yourself. What are the negative things you are telling yourself deep down? This can sometimes be a painful process of realization to say the very least. Its definitely not easy, but think of all of the great things in your life. Most of the wonderful things that have come to you have required effort and hard work on your part. All things that are worth the outcome, involve discomfort and change.
Remember this: If you say you can't do something, your right. You've just concreted it with your statement. Conversely, how many times, while trying to do something difficult, have you created a mantra like, “I can do this, I can do this”? When you say those things positively to yourself, chances are in most cases, you will achieve it. The statements you make to yourself program your mind.
So once you've dug deep and have the answers of your negative self talk, rewrite those thoughts in a positive way and in the present state, such as “I AM worthy!” This may take some time if you begin to really dig deep. You may even be amazed at what you find, if your seriously being true to yourself in wanting to change. So write down ALL of the negative statements you may tell yourself. Then rewrite them positively. Use those affirmations every day, even twice a day if you can.
You may find it very difficult at first to say the words. Say them anyway. You may find it most difficult to believe them. Say them anyway. You don't necessarily need to believe the words you say right now. Try looking in the mirror, which may be the most uncomfortable to do, but try it anyway. By doing this, you'll be reprogramming your unconscious mind into eventually believing the words you say.
I challenge you to do the do! Rewrite your broken record, and do daily affirmations for 21 days. Start being true to you and your well being. Step out of your comfort zone, and find the REAL you on the other side. You will be amazed at how your whole life and perspectives begin to change in a positive way.
These healing tips and tricks I share with you from a place of love and light. I want everyone to know that if your initial block creating illness or pain in your life is due to your thoughts, you have the power to heal yourself the natural way.

Meditation has been used for thousands of years as a way to attain a level of awareness that is beyond the limitations of the every day thinking mind. In other words, meditation at its deepest level helps us to free ourselves from the ego-self. It helps us to put the ego by the wayside. So essentially, meditation is the practice of bringing together the mind, body and spirit.
Clinical studies over the last 30 years have documented that meditation regularly has signicant effects on the mind and body. These are just a few of the many benefits of mediation:

~Helps improve immune function
~Reduces anxiety, as well as other stress related disorders
~Promotes a feeling of calm and peacefulness

Daily meditation is a great way to get some or even all of the benefits mentioned above. Meditation has become a huge part of my life, along with healing. I've taken the meditations that I've written, and added a bit of sound therapy to them.
A while back I wrote about the vagus nerve and why it's so important. Simply put, the vagus nerve is the longest cranial nerve in your body and it connects to most of the body's major organs. Just one of the ways to keep the physical body healthy, is to stimulate the vagus nerve so it functions properly. There are many documented ways to stimulate the vagus nerve. Singing or chanting, laughter, yoga, meditation, breathing exercises or exercise in general, are just a few. Most of these ways have one thing in common...SOUND!
Think about your favorite song. Do you equate that song with a happy time in your life? Can you remember an exact experience when hearing your favorite song? Does your favorite song sometimes bring a feeling of nostalgia? That's the power of sound!
Findings of resonant frequency of organs is now happening worldwide by doctors to assist in vibrating the whole body back into a state of health and transfuse illness/diseases such as anxiety, PTSD, migraines, depression, memory issues, chronic pain, sleep disorders and even cancer. Sound is rapidly becoming one of the most largely buzzed about gatekeepers of health today.
It's through sound that I am able to ramp up the benefits of meditation. Each of my meditations are recorded with my voice along with the relaxing sounds of my seven crystal singing bowls. All seven bowls are recorded and playing in the background of each meditation. Each singing bowl correlates with a different music scale note as well as a specific part of the physical and Etheric body. These crystal singing bowls can help to balance and harmonize your chakras, as well as stimulate the vagus nerve for a healthier you.
Now is the time to start gaining the benefits of meditating every day and allow my relaxing sounds of the singing bowls to help stimulate your vagus nerve too! Even just a few minutes a day will spin your life in a positive direction. You may find yourself a bit happier, less stressed, sleeping better, and thinking more positively.
